When the DC streaming service, “DC Universe”, was announced – it was said that it would only be available in the U.S. at launch date.
However, there’s a new rumour (supported by the reliable @DanielRPK), Warner Bros. and DC may be placing their DC Universe on to Netflix for the international audience. With Netflix being available in over 190 countries – plus there’s a good chance that you (yes, you) are a subscriber already. If this turns out to be true, this is a massive win for DC fans. In fact, with Disney also pulling their Marvel films from Netflix, after Ant-Man and the Wasp, wouldn’t this be a great opportunity for DC to fill the gap.
With the official launch of the DC Universe, just a week away (15th September – Batman Day), let’s hope that we get more details on how international fans will be able to keep up to date and watch their favourite characters on screen.
Although only a rumour, it is very promising.
